The UK debut of So You Think You Can Dance packed a wallop reaching the highest rating of the night in the UK with over 8-million viewers. That figure is the highest number since Britain’s Got Talent in 2007. Time will tell if the show can maintain those numbers, but it’s off to a strong start.

The Brit version of the reality competition, which is also hosted by Cat Deeley with Nigel Lythgoe judging, easily won its timeslot.
