Jane and Jake (Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin) are divorced, Jake is remarried to his trophy wife Agness (Lake Bell), but that doesn’t stop the former couple from hooking up again – even after Jane begins dating her new architect, Adam (Steve Martin).
Filmmaker Nancy Meyers says the subject of love, deception and heartbreak can and is hilarious…especially when it’s in the hands of her actors Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and John Krasinski.
