Jeff Bridges is on the fast-track for an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of a broken-down Country Music singer who lives a hard life. Bridges has already landed Best Actor nods from various organizations including the Golden Globes and Screen Actors’ Guild Awards.

The actor has worked with his fair share of notable filmmakers over the years including John Carpenter and the Coen brothers and he’s convinced that Crazy Heart Director, Scott Cooper ranks up there with the best of them.
