Andre Braugher appeared on the season premiere of House in a pivotal role as the psychiatrist who helped Dr. House find his way out of a nervous and drug-induced breakdown.

It was a great experience for the actor, who had worked for House creator and producer, David Shore and Katie Jacobs previously on the series King’s Crossing.

Just because he knows the two show runners doesn’t mean Braugher will be reprising the role on House anytime soon. He understands that the series focuses on House and his ability to diagnose the most difficult of illnesses. To deviate from that successful formula is simply unnecessary.
