Fans of ’sword and sandal’ epics, as well as the big-screen blockbuster 300, might want to set the old TIVO for the 1/22 debut of the new STARZ CHANNEL series SPARTACUS. Produced in Australia by the same folk who gave us “HERCULES” and ”ZENA: PRINCESS WARRIOR,” this new retelling of the SPARTACUS legend promises to be a real ratings grabber for STARZ.   Betrayed by the Romans, forced into slavery, reborn as a Gladiator, this classic tale of the Republic’s most infamous rebel comes alive in the graphic and visceral new series. At the recent press conference for the series, Exec Producer STEVEN S.
