Daniel Day Lewis did a lot of cramming when he found out he’d be starring opposite legendary actress, Sophia Loren for the big screen musical Nine.

The actor sat through a number of Loren’s best movies to reacquaint himself with her body of work. What he learned was despite her sex symbol image Loren’s skills at her craft are off the charts.
