On this day in 1963, 20th CENTURY FOX released MOVE OVER, DARLING. Directed by MICHAEL GORDON from a story by BELLA & SAM SPEWACK, this remake of the 1940 film, MY FAVORITE WIFE was an instant crowd pleaser. DORIS DAY, JAMES GARNER and POLLY BERGEN star in this story of a man who believes his wife lost at sea years earlier remarries on the day she is found alive and well. Comedy, as they say, ensues. The stellar supporting cast includes THELMA RITTER, FRED CLARK, DON KNOTS, ELLIOTT REID and JOHN ASTIN. A great 60’s film.
