On this day in 1960, PARAMOUNT PICTURES released CINDERFELLA. Directed by the consistently reliable FRANK TASHLIN from his own script, this slapstick adaptation of the classic fairy tale had star JERRY LEWIS’ fingerprints all over it. Say what you will about LEWIS, the supporting cast was pretty amazing and included ED WYNN, JUDITH ANDERSON, COUNT BASIE, JOE WILLIAMS and ANNA MARIA ALBERGHETTI.
