On this day in 1970, NATIONAL GENERAL PICTURES released LITTLE BIG MAN. Directed by ARTHUR PENN from the novel by WILLIAM BERGER, this Western epic was slick and highly amusing. Told in flashback by the incredibly old Jack Crabb, the film chronicled his being raised by Indians and fighting with General Custer. The all-star cast includes DUSTIN HOFFMAN, FAYE DUNAWAY, CHEIF DAN GEORGE, MARTIN BALSAM, RICHARD MULLIGAN and WILLIAM HICKEY.
