In the new CLINT EASTWOOD film, INVICTUS, MATT DAMON plays real-life rugby star FRANCOIS PIENAAR. EASTWOOD wasn’t exactly casting to type by putting DAMON in the role since the actor is of a completely different stature than that of the athlete. At the press conference for the film, DAMON talked about getting the director’s call and his surprise at being offered the part. Listen in below:
