On this day in 1983, COLUMBIA PICTURES released CHRISTINE. Directed by JOHN CARPENTER from the novel by STEPHEN KING, this story of a boy and his car pushed all the right buttons for a teen-age ‘guy’ movie. KEITH GORDON stars as a nebbishy guy who finds that his dream car not only has a mind of it’s own but is also a bit of a jealous girlfriend.
