In adapting ALICE SEBOLD’S bestselling novel, THE LOVELY BONES, for the big screen Director PETER JACKSON had several difficult choices to make, not the least of which was to excise some of the more graphic scenes of kidnapping and murder. At the recent press conference for the film, JACKSON talked about the alterations he made and his decision, from the get-go, to make the film PG-13 rather than R rated. Listen in below:
