American Idol season eight runner-up, Adam Lambert is enjoying a heck of a career, though it’s not without controversy.
Lambert raised eyebrows at last month’s American Music Awards with a number that had him leading scantily-clad men around on a leash. Did he care that if offended some people? A little, but he’d be the first to tell you that the performance should be applauded.
Now he’s following up the AMAs with an appearance on Barbara Walters’ yearly special the Most Fascinating People where his risqué performance is sure to come up. But, Lambert will also stop by The View the very next day, to chat it up with the women and perform on the daytime talker.
Add to that a performance on the So You Think You Can Dance finale and it’s easy to see that Lambert has become a genuine star.
And it’s all because of American Idol – which Lambert says taught him a greater level of professionalism.
