It wasn’t all laughs on the set of Alice according to PhilipWinchester, who stars as Jack Chase, Alice’s love interest in the two-day movie event.

The story is an updated and SyFy‘d version of the Lewis Carroll children’s book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and though it’s not quite as fanciful, there were physical rigors that kept Winchester on his game.

It was especially taxing when the film’s director, Nick Willing, was shooting for perfection and if that meant - say - horseback riding in a thunderstorm for hours, so be it.
