That’s why the Country Music legend was so eager to guest star on Underwood’s first TV special Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special.
Not only does Parton recognize the American Idol season four winner’s talent, but she’s also confident Underwood has earned her own permanent place in Country Music history.
Besides, Parton is a huge fan of variety TV and she knew singing with Underwood would be a blast.
