dreamsOn this day in 1951, WARNER BROTHERS PICTURES released I’LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS. Directed by the legendary MICHAEL CURTIZ from a script by JACK ROSE and MEL SHAVELSON, this musical biopic of songwriter GUS KAHN was an audience hit. More fiction than fact and more charm than substance, the film was a great showcase for it’s stars, DANNY THOMAS and DORIS DAY.
