Nathan Trasoras and Noelle Marsh were shown the door on So You Think You Can Dance Wednesday night.

It was bittersweet for the judges who believe that the pair had finally hit their stride.  Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman and Mary Murphy all agree Trasoras and Marsh blazed a new trail, but it was just a little too late.

As they head into the final eight contestants, Lythgoe isn’t ready to guess who will win the entire competition, but he is confident that this season the guys have the edge.
