The top 10 So You Think You Can Dance contestants squared off Wednesday and the judges were eager to see what would happen with new partnerships and solo performances. This is the first year that the top 10 has NOT been top heavy with contemporary dancers, judge Adam Shankman explains to us at HollywoodOutbreak.com. And as of now, the competition is anyone’s game.
Not all of these dancers would have been Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe’s choice for the finals, but he’s also convinced they’ll make for an interesting competition. Shankman thinks the differences between the contestants will impact all the dancers and improve their game. While Mary Murphy believes that even the Krumper and Hip-Hop contestants have an equal chance of winning.
The judges are now removed from the decision of who goes home on each results show…that’s in America’s hands now. But don’t expect them to clam up and avoid speaking their minds - Lythgoe tells us - as though that was even a consideration.

Not sure if Nigel will read this ever but they need to get rid of Choreographer Dave Scott needs to go the past 3 - 4 dances have been total crap compared to other hip hop choreographers. last night everyone did great except with his routine it was boring and not at all the dancers fault. you almost feel bad if they pick his name out of the hat cause you will end up in the bottom and voted off most likely

umm actually julie dave scott is the best HH choreographer on so you think you can dance. He just happened to have a bad moment. And the past 3 or 4 dances have been praised tremendously and nigel witnessed it in person. I hate it when people say that the choreographer sucks just because of one bad routine. As long as Dave has been on this show he has only had two bad routines including this one.
