I can only guess how difficult it was for her to go public with her admission. Additionally, I hope she feels a great deal of relief now and that she won't have to feel as if she's keeping a secret. I wish her all the best. Even as a straight person, I will indeed continue to vote for candidates who author and support legislation that favors the rights of gays, lesbians, and transgendered people. All the best to her.
