National Geographic journalist, Lisa Ling was stepping out in style at the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s Celebration of Dance Sunday, but, she wasn’t alone.  Ling brought her sister Laura Ling and was, of course, still in Thanksgiving mode four days after the holiday.

Why? Ling’s sis, along with fellow journalist Euna Lee were released by North Korea on August 4th after being sentenced to 12 years hard labor for crossing into the country illegally on March 17th, 2009.

As happy as Lisa Ling was, her thoughts were on the many other journalists still being held in foreign prisons.
