MONK -- "Mr. Monk and the End, part 1" -- Pictured: (l-r) Tony Shalhoub as Adrian Monk, Traylor Howard as Natalie Teeger -- USA Network Photo: Hopper Stone
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder never looked so good than when embodied by the skillful Tony Shalhoub, who has been playing detective Adrian Monk on the dramady series Monk for the past eight seasons.
Now, with only two episodes left, Shalhoub knows precisely why the show has lasted so long – and it’s all because of the viewers.
And it’s because of those fans that the actor refuses to name his favorite episode. He’d rather let the audience decide which specific Monk shows were the most memorable.
Click onto the two videos for Tony Shalhoub’s trip down memory lane for his series Monk.
The two-part finale of Monk begins this Friday, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.

I can’t express how much pleasure the MONK series has given me! The character of “Monk” portrayed by Tony S. was so perfect and so flawed, funny, yet serious, just so deliciously comical and entertaining in everyway. The compiled efforts of all those involved in the making of MONK have shown true inspiration, you are one of a kind. May all your future efforts (and I hope there will be some Monk movies in there!) be as wonderful as these past and present ones! I pray for your good health and well being, Thank you Mr. Shalhoub.

What a joy it has been to be a fan of MONK….its cleverness, intrigue, and the total accceptance of this wonderful human being with flaws, are what make the show wonderful, and beloved. Tony Shaloub deserves all the awards he has received, and the affection showered on him by the fans. He acknowledges in the clip that it is the cast and the writers who produce the show, but it is the fans that were delighted and stayed with it. We were always wondering what the next episode would bring. We are all uniquely human, and MONK is a reminder of that. What a treasure this show is and will continue to be. Tony, we wish you luck and many more successes, you are amazing. We look forward to your movie, Feed the Fish, which received a standing ovation at its preview in his hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Go, Tony!!!

I would first like to say, USA has some of the best programming on television today. However, with the Monk show, I will sadly miss, I want to say thank you to all involved, for such an incredible show. Not only for flaws, but also for character, so wholesome and good in nature. The honesty, integrity, loyalty, faithfulness, not something we get to see all to often on television today. I have not seen the last epidsodes, but, I am just hoping there is something in the future with such a rich goodness. Tony Shaloub, by far the best actor for the part. There really isn’t anything to compare to, but to consider one, this show by far exceeds any expectations one could even imagine. The entire collective effort, a perfection, second to none. Thank you for all the laughs, seriousness, honesty, etc. The excessive OCD’s of this character, perfectly portrayed. A light hearted example of something that is usually a very lonely condition, not at all perceived as understood, likely left no one out. While I didn’t follow the fan club, or write previously, my friday nights, were a joy. I would just love to shake the hand(s) of the originator(s) of this show. I wish you all the rich Blessing’s, you gave us through such an incredible television program. With a heart felt, Thank you.

I loved the series from the start. Monk gave us clean entertainment for all ages which is hard to find these days. I will miss the show but hope that they will give us several TV movies like those of another loveable detective - Columbo .
The cast was the best!!
