“The Blind Side” may be based on the true story of Baltimore Ravens rookie Michael Oher, but it’s definitely not your typical football or sports movie.  According to Sandra Bullock, who stars as the real-life woman whose family took Oher in as a troubled teen, it’s more of a drama that uses the sports backdrop to provide an insightful life lesson.
