For the big-screen adaptation of his Broadway hit, NINE, songwriter MAURY YESTON penned three brand new tunes: GUARDA LA LUNA, a lullaby sung by SOPHIA LOREN. CINEMA ITALIANO, a song-and-dance number for KATE HUDSON and TAKE IT ALL, a number for MARION COTILLARD. All three songs are eligible for Oscar consideration but don’t ask YESTON how that works. At the recent press conference for the film, the self proclaimed “Broadway Baby” said he hasn’t a clue how Oscar works. Listen in below:
