DANIEL DAY-LEWIS makes an impressive musical debut in the big screen adaptation of the stage hit, NINE. But it wasn’t without a lot of prodding from director ROB MARSHALL that he was even willing to give it a try. At last week’s press conference for the film, DAY-LEWIS told reporters he had absolutely no confidence in his talents as a song-and-dance man. (Click on the media bar below for audio):

Oh boy, what a unique voice…! He can sing all right, that’s for sure - remember that little Irish tune he did in ‘Eversmile, New Jersey’? I can’t wait to see the NINE premiere! What an extraordinary man!!! God bless!
