Fans of Smokey Robinson and figure skating can tune in for a special performance today. NBC Sports is airing Smokey Robinson Tribute on Ice, which features award-winning figure skaters hitting the ice to the live tunes of the legendary R&B star.
Todd Eldredge was a fan of Robinson’s long before he skated to his classic songs, but he also adds that the tune he was given was one of his personal favs.

This was a fabulous show, and Smokey Robinson blew us all away. Since I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s, his music was so special to me. It brought back memories of dancing with my sweeties or snuggling at the drive-in. This show made me cry so hard, I couldn’t see out of my glasses! Wow!

Smokey was superb! This was a real treat and I think it was a great early Christmas present from him to us! The skaters were really good and talented and their costumes were gorgeous. Smokey still sings like an angel!

Just watching the Smokey show! Fabulous! He’s still as great as I remember in all the concerts in the 60’s and 70’s. The skating added so much more! Smokey you are as good looking as ever and the voice is soothing and sultry as tho time sat still. I close my eyes and wow!

You were GREAT smokey, i hope you come to Dallas on tour. I do have 1 question: when you sang the duet ” Your the one for me” with the Beautiful Karen Morales, does she have any records out there anywhere or go on tour? I searched her name and can’t find anything. She has a GREAT voice and would love to see if she got any songs out there. if so, where can i find? I was really supprized that there was no mention of her name anywhere.
