If you seen any of Hamish Hamilton’s work you know that the Academy Awards are going to be eye-popping come March.  Hamilton has helmed everything from the MTV Awards to the Victoria Secret Fashion Shows and turned those into distinctive looks.

And that’s precisely why Oscar Producer Adam Shankman chose him to direct the telecast.  But Shankman also tells HollywoodOutbreak.com that the glamour will all still be there - and he promises to make it happen in no more than three hours (what, no interpretive dance?).

The Oscars, which will be co-hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, will air live from the Kodak Theatre, March 7th on ABC.
