On this day in 1949, M-G-M released ADAM’S RIB. Directed by the legendary GEORGE CUKOR from a screenplay by husband/wife team RUTH GORDON and GARSON KANIN, this comedy revolves around the tensions between husband/wife  attorneys on opposite sides of a domestic violence case. The film stars SPENCER TRACEY, KATHERINE HEPBURN, JUDY HOLIDAY, TOM EWELL, DAVID WAYNE and JEAN HAGEN.  Totally enjoyable!
