On this day in 1962, EMBASSY PICTURES released SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS. Directed by NICHOLAS WEBSTER from an original story by PAUL L. JACOBSON, this weird combination of sci-fi meets holiday cheer is almost unwatchable. If not for a few unintentionally hilarious moments and a star turn by a very young PIA ZADORA, it wouldn’t be worth the effort. But, ultimately, it kinda is.
