Yet another TV series is getting a big screen transformation, but, the A-Team was no ordinary television drama. It was loaded with action and big guns and starred a strong ensemble cast headed by veteran star, George Peppard. So turning it into a film seems as though it was inevitable.

The premise for the TV and the film version is pretty much the same but, instead of Viet Nam vets accused of a crime they didn’t commit, they’re soldiers back from Iraq, which also opens the door to a wide range of new problems as the group helps those in need while struggling to clear their names.

Though Jessica Biel thought it was a good choice for her to star in – she didn’t go into the production without a cautious second thought or two. Now that the pic is well underway, all of Biel’s concerns have evaporated. Now she’s convinced The A-Team is going to be a huge hit and satisfying to fans of the original show. Besides, Biel gets to pack heat in the flick and those guns are downright gigantic.
