In the new film, THE MESSENGER, WOODY HARRELSON plays part of a team of Army Casualty Notification Officers whose job is to contact the loved ones of soldiers killed in service. It’s a grim job and, as research for the role, HARRELSON paid visits to many wounded vets and their families. We spoke with the actor recently and he talked about the experience not being at all what he expected. Listen in below:
