Sting is set to headline the Academy of Music 153rd Anniversary Concert on Saturday, January 30, 2010.  The rocker/popstar will perform with The Philadelphia Orchestra and his own quartet of jazz/pop/rock musicians, which will be conducted by David Hartley.

This year’s annual January gala is the 53rd to benefit the restoration fund for the Academy of Music, a National Historic Landmark and home to The Philadelphia Orchestra for more than a century.
