On this day in 1982, NEW WORLD PICTURES released SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE. Directed by AMY HOLDEN JONES from a script by (get this) lesbian/feminist/activist RITA MAE BROWN. The plot (such as it is) has a bunch of teen girls terrorized by a power-tool wielding maniac. In the style of the era, it was all big hair and bare breasts and lots of blood. It was the 80’s at it’s best. Heading the mostly unknown cast were MICHELLE MICHAELS, ROBIN STILE, DEBRA DELISO and ANDREE HONORE. BTW– THE VID IS NSFW!!
