Adam Shankman judges the competition for Season Six of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and still has time to produce the Academy Awards in March 2010. 2009 Fox Broadcasting Co. CR: Michael Williams/FOX.
Adam Shankman has already made some changes to the 82nd Annual Academy Awards by having both Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin co-host the show.
It was kind of a no-brainer for the Hairspray producer, who is a fan and a friend of the two actors. Besides, the last time there were co-hosts was in 1987 when comedic actors, Chevy Chase, Goldie Hawn and Paul Hogan took the stage.
To hear Shankman tell it, Baldwin better beware, because he might just be croonin’ - tunin’ and tapping his feet off during the telecast.

The Academy Awards are handed out March 7th, live from the Kodak Theatre and broadcast on ABC.
Shankman’s other day job, So You Think You Can Dance, continues next Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

He looks so tired, poor guy. I hope he keeps his health so we can continue to see his awesome, creative works!
