While Scott Bakula has played dozens of roles in a Hollywood career that stretches back nearly 25 years, to many of his fans, he’ll always be remembered as Dr. Sam Beckett from the much-beloved series “Quantum Leap.”  Though the series went off the air in 1993, the show continues to find a new audience through DVDs and the occasional syndication run.  Bakula explained to us why he feels like the show’s appeal is timeless.
