Don’t look for another Simpsons big screen movie right away. According to Executive Producer Al Jean, the flick turned out great and was a major hit for the studio, but the time making it while also handling the day to day on the TV show was rough.
Jean isn’t ruling out a sequel though. He’d just prefer that it happen after the series breathes its final breath. But, with roughly 8-plus viewers each week, it’s unlikely The Simpsons would need any resuscitation just yet.
The show gets those numbers because the writers aren’t afraid to take risks. And to kick off November sweeps this year, The Simpsons is poking fun at that Playboy magazine cover featuring a nudity-cutie, Marge Simpson.

The Devil Wears Nada episode of The Simpsons airs November 15th, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
