We recently visited the set of the ABC sitcom THE MIDDLE to talk with series star PATRICIA HEATON about her character of a middle class, middle of the road and middle of the country matriarch. HEATON told us that, while she identifies with the ‘middle-ness’ of her character, at the heart of the show is a family trying to get by.
