Everybody’s doing it, get a hit TV series, become a big star and move into directing a few episodes.  Sounds simple, huh?

Not so fast, says Tim Roth, who could easily take the reigns of his show, Lie to Me, but still hesitates.

The actor is apparently a perfectionist and would need time to really plot out his directing approach before stepping behind the lense.  And though he’s considering it, Roth says for now, he’ll settle for his high-profile day job.
