Earlier this month the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Hairspray director and So You Think You Can Dance judge, Adam Shankman would co-produce the 82nd Annual Academy Awards with Pandemonium Films chairman and CEO, Bill Mechanic come March of 2010.

Shankman tells HollywoodOutbreak.com that he plans to spice up the Oscars without disrespecting the previous traditional productions of the award telecast.  In short, expect a fast-paced flashy Academy Awards.
