At last week-end’s press conference for the upcoming Disney holiday epic, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, star JIM CARREY (who plays several roles in the film) took issue with the idea that actors in motion-capture CGI films are not so much ‘acting’ as they are just a step in the technical process. CARREY says that, despite being totally body-wired and fitted with motion sensors, actors are still doing what actors do….act. (Click on the media bar below for audio):
