Food Network star, Sandra Lee is hosting Sandra Lee Celebrates, a series of shows for HGTV for the holidays.  But, tonight you’ll see her cooking up something special on Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

Lee is one of a number of celebrities helping to change lives on the hit series and having come from a financially-strapped family herself, it was especially rewarding to participate.

Her new HGTV specials have little to do with food and much more to do with the home itself.  And Lee was more than a little gratified that she shot Extreme Makeover Home Edition beforehand because it helped her to understand what families really need for their home - holidays or not.
