On this day in 1970, COMPASS INTERNATIONAL released HALLOWEEN. Directed by JOHN CARPENTER, this ‘little’ movie about a psychotic killer on the loose in a small town on Halloween night started a bloody parade of holiday themed fright fests. The great cast included JAMIE LEE CURTIS, DONALD PLEASENCE, P.J. SOLES and TONY MORAN. Hands down, one of the best thrillers ever made.
