Julie Bowen-Modern Family

Julie Bowen’s found steady TV work all decade long, with memorable roles on “Ed,” “Boston Legal,” and “Lost.”  But with the recent debut of her new sitcom Modern Family, Bowen is getting the best notices of her career, as both critics and fans have lauded the Arrested Development-like dysfunctional behavior of the characters.  Bowen, who plays an overprotective mom on the show, was pregnant with twins during the shooting of the first season, and she told us why she’s loved working on the show, which received a full season pickup this month.
