On this day in 1952, UNITED ARTISTS released LIMELIGHT. Directed by CHARLES CHAPLIN from his own story and screenplay, LIMELIGHT told the story of the odd relationship between a fading comic and a suicidal ballet dancer. Joining CHAPLIN on screen are CLAIRE BLOOM, BUSTER KEATON, NORMAN LLOYD, NIGEL BRUCE and SYDNEY CHAPLIN. Justifiably considered a classic.
