Amelia stars Hilary Swank as the legendary pilot, Amelia Earhart, who vanished in 1937 flying over the Pacific Ocean while attempting to circle the globe.   Maudlin telling of a woman who was an aviation pioneer; dressed up with sweeping shots and beautiful scenery.

Astro Boy is a young robot in Metro City who has mondo powers thanks to a brilliant scientist who fashioned him after the scientist’s dead son.  Star-studded cast…and that’s about it.

Saw VI still stars Tobin Bell as the notorious Jigsaw (though only in flashbacks because he is, after all, dead.). This installment finds Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor), who was Jigsaw’s accomplice, being investigated by the FBI.  Is there really a reason to say anymore about this film?  OK.  Mayhem ensues.

Darren Shan meets a mysterious man at a freak show only to find out that he’s a vampire in Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant.  How does he handle the news?  By becoming a half-vampire himself as well as the vampire’s assistant.  Go in expecting less and you’ll enjoy the pic more.
