While the big-screen Star Wars saga appears to have ended after six movies, the franchise is far from over.  Producer/director George Lucas has expanded his Jedi empire into videogames (the classic RPG title Knights of the Old Republic is a particular standout) as well as the popular animated series The Clone Wars, which airs Friday nights on the Cartoon Network.  Lucas, who has been one of Hollywood’s top players for years thanks to his boundless imagination and business acumen, is actually surprised by the continuing success of the Star Wars brand (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR BELOW TO HEAR GEORGE LUCAS)
