Tonight sees the debut on HBO of TELL THEM ANYTHING YOU WANT: A PORTRAIT OF MAURICE SENDAK by directors SPIKE JONZE and LANCE BANGS. In the short but powerful film, SENDAK reviews his life and reveals thoughts on fame, childhood, mortality and everything in between. It’s a great little film about a really interesting man. We spoke with JONZE recently and he talked about working with SENDAK on the upcoming WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE feature. Listen in below:
