It certainly didn’t come as much of a surprise to us that NBC gave the terrific JOHN WELLS cop show, SOUTHLAND, the ax. Now that the braintrust at the network has lost five hours weekly of adult prime time to the low-rated JAY LENO SHOW, deserving series like this one had to bite the dust.
