In Couples Retreat, four couples head to a tropical-island resort for a little R&R.  But, one of couples is there to work out their problems; to either patch-up or end their marriage.  Natually, they’re working on it in the resort’s therapy sessions, but unfortunately for the rest of the group (there for moral support and fun), they’re forced into the sessions, which are mandatory…like it or not.  Vince Vaughn is always worth the price of admission and Couples Retreat has its moments, but don’t expect a comedy masterpiece.

Free Style stars Corbin Bleu (High School Music) as Cale, a guy determined to win a place on the Grand National racing team.  Just one question, can he do it without compromising his family and friends?  Free Style is actually a TV movie, something you’d see on the Disney Channel.  In fact, a couple of flicks on the channel covered the world of motocross; Motocrossed and Right on Track.  Free Style is, however, a harmless family film with cool action scenes.

Good Hair is Chris Rock’s exploration of African-American hairstyles.  Sounds simple enough, but the lengths that women go to for perfect hair is extreme…and big business…but also funny in Rock’s hands.

Celebs participating in the doc-comedy include, Maya Angelou, Nia Long, Raven-Symone, Eve, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Kerry Washington and Ice-T.
