19CBS remained on top of the Tuesday ratings race this week even though the trio of dramas took a bit of a downturn from the start of the season.

According to the fast national ratings, NCIS dominated the opening hour (19.8 million viewers), while NBC’s The Biggest Loser (8.5 million viewers) came in as the second place champ. Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen was up from last week with (7.3 million). And ABC’s Shark Tank showed very little teeth (5.4 million), two weeks from its finale.

At 9:00 p.m., CBS‘ new hit NCIS: Los Angeles creamed the competition with 16.1 million viewers. Dancing With the Stars on ABC grabbed 11.8 million eyes and The Biggest Loser’s second hour averaged 9.5 million.  So You Think You Can Dance on Fox caught 5.5 million viewers overall.

CBS ruled the 10:00 p.m. hour with week three of The Good Wife (13.4 million viewers).  The show is a hit for the net, but seems to decline in the second half of the hour, not a good sign for any program. NBC’s The Jay Leno Show (6.1 million viewers overall) and ABC’s The Forgotten (7.8 million viewers overall), were roughly the same from the previous week, though both also declined in the second half hour of the show.

CW’s pairing of 90210 (2.2 million) and Melrose Place (1.6 million), were unimpressive, but believe it or not, actually improving their numbers from last week.
