Bruce Willis says he didn’t put a lot of stuntmen out of work by doing some of his own stunts in Surrogates.  He was careful with what he would and wouldn’t do for the sake of his art.

But don’t think the actor was risking life and limb.  He chose the scenes he was brave enough to try - and those were mostly underwater or in a harness.

Surrogates is currently in theaters.
